Support along your woven path
When life revolves around illness, caregiving, or caring for others, it's easy to lose sight of yourself. Whether you're living with a chronic illness, caring for someone you love, working as a healthcare professional, or grieving or anticipating a loss, the emotional burden can be just as challenging as the circumstances themselves. You don't have to navigate it alone. You don't have to explain the medical world to me. My years in a hospital and palliative care have given me a deep understanding of how illness and the healthcare system affect every part of life.
I spent more than eight years as a hospital social worker, including 5 years specializing in palliative care. I've supported individuals and families through serious illness, caregiving, anticipatory grief, loss, and life's most difficult transitions. I also understand the unique challenges healthcare professionals face with burnout and compassion fatigue.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Together we'll reduce anxiety, strengthen coping skills, establish healthier boundaries, and help you reconnect with the parts of yourself overshadowed by stress, caregiving, grief, or adjustment to a diagnosis. Whether you're adjusting to uncertainty, or simply feeling exhausted, I can help you.
If you're looking for grounded, steady support during a challenging season of life, I'd be honored to work with you.
In addition to therapy, I provide clinical supervision for CSWA's seeking supportive, practical, and growth-oriented guidance as they develop confidence in their clinical work. My approach emphasizes clinical skill development, ethical decision making, and building confidence.
